A beautiful private beach is available for the exclusive use of Athena villas guests. The beach is located in Trou aux Biches about 15 minutes drive from the Oasis villa.
Trou aux Biches beach is by far the most sought after beach Mauritius. It owes its popularity with discerning regular visitors mainly owing to its safe bathing for children, perfect conditions for snorkelling (either in its lagoon or along its reefs), and its fine silver sand. The beach of Trou aux Biches has a gentle slope, and is consequently particularly suitable for children and non-swimmers as well. Beach Trou aux Biches. A comfortable bus shuttle, links the villas – centre of Grand Bay and the beach several times a day. Cost of the shuttle : Euro 20 for 7 days or Euro 10 for 3 days. Small pavilions, deckchairs, beachfront massages and water sports are available exclusively to guests. Access to the beach is free and exclusive to the clients. A privilege card granting access to the beach is provided to our guests upon arrival. The card has to be presented at the entrance for every access.

Athena villas are located in Grand Bay which is situated on the North side of Mauritius. Grand Bay is the main holiday resort on the Island and hosts numerous restaurants, a small number of bars and many boutiques for those that enjoy shopping. In addition to this, numerous leisure facilities can be found in Grand Bay, including water sports, diving and deep sea fishing. There are many beautiful unspoiled beaches at Grand Bay and the surrounding area, and as Grand Bay is protected by a coral reef, the sea is very calm. The Villas are close to nearby water skiing, glass bottom boat, pedalo, spa, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, wind surfing, Gym and other leisure & sports facilities.
Complimentary cocktails, clean and very private. Good shuttle bus service that takes you to gorgeous private beach club or shopping centre. Staff were very friendly and area was very secure. Breakfast was lovely every morning.
The exclusive feel and open space really made it amazing. We really would come back, probably with friends. The layout is very nice, the outside area by the pool, the open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. The kitchen was well stocked for a self-catering unit. The free shuttle service to the private beach (lovely setup) was very helpful, it goes back and forth more than once a day.
Good, clean and comfortable type of living. It is not a fully separate villa, but it is quite good. It looks as a apartment villa, but it is fully acceptable. Good beach club from Athena at the sea. Located at the big beach which is one from the main beaches of island. Good seabed. Supermarket Super-U is located nearby - it is comfortable to buy all products and some small things there
